Lucas is a fantasy novelist living in Nashville, Tennessee. A devoted reader and learner, Lucas finds inspiration in the confluence between history, philosophy, psychology, mythology, religion, and science. He released his debut, the young adult science fantasy BOOK & BONE, in 2020. Now writing adult fantasy, Lucas is currently penning the grimdark epic WHERE DEMONS PRAY AND ANGELS LIE, with completion expected in 2023.
Lucas received his BFA in creative writing and BA in psychology from the University of Maine. He is a retired world-ranked Scrabble player, representing the U.S at the world championship in 2016.
